It is a definite fact that no one, and I mean no one, ever did complain about having too much space in his or her home. Okay, there are those who own mansions and palaces and even whole islands where they can put in their stuff one mile apart but that’s outrageous. I don’t even know someone who has that much space.
Well, going back to the topic at hand. It is absolutely necessary for us to free our homes with the clutter that is making our lives somewhat annoying. Many of these clutters have been deemed useless by you already and demands to be taken out and be recycled. But hey, why not do the recycling yourself and maybe you can make new stuff out of those useless clutters in your home.
Now, if you live in a small, medium size apartment and living with a flatmate that has the same clutter problem, why not try these 3 simple steps to achieve clutter storage and free yourself from a cramped living condition.
1. Containment – Be aware that some of the solutions to your clutter problem are just sitting idly in your basement, in your cupboard or in your closet. Surely you have a bunch of boxes, wooden crates, berry baskets and empty jars to stash anything old newspapers and magazines, plastic clips and all other sort of tiny stuff which you can contain into the abovementioned “holding bins”.
2. Replicate – Utilizing stray containers or collectibles in to an ornamental montage by grouping similar objects. Consistency does the trick here because it will give a neat look and they definitely looks like a work of art if grouped together.
3. Reanimate – There are many stuff in your home that you think are already worthless and should be thrown away. Well, if you just take a second look to that lidless coffee bowl or color faded plastic container, you can definitely think of ways to make them useful again. Giving a second life to these “trash” by assigning them new functions. They can even add style to wherever area they are spending their second life in.
