Many times, people try to organize their home, or a particular room
but give up shortly after because it just didn’t turn out the
right. Typically, instances of these types of projects not turning
out as expected happens for two reasons. These reasons are:
I.Shopping first.
Shopping is very enjoyable and for many people shopping is the most
enjoyable part for an organizing project because it doesn’t seem
like work at all. I’m not saying that shopping is bad but this
ultimately adds to the clutter around you. Shopping should be
thought of as a reward for a great job.
II.Losing focus.
You should always focus on the task at hand or you’ll never get
anything done. You’ll just go from one thing to another. You may
keep busy all day long but you’ll never get anything accomplished.
If you start working in a certain room do not leave that room. You
may take things out and decide to bring them to the basement. On
your way back you’ll find other items that don’t belong and you’ll
be moving back and forth not really finishing one room.
